GRADUATION!!!!!!!

Last thursday night was Grad Night. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is when the Seniors take buses to DisneyLand and stay there all night. We get to ride all the rides as many times as we can. The best part is that only seniors are there. I can not believe how much fun i had. i am still surprised that i had such a good time. It was a blast being there with a bunch of other seniors, and disneyland is so much more fun when there are no kids. Plus the adults that were our chapparones (spelling) where really cool. They actually treated us like our age and let us be free. So it was awesome. The group that i spent the night with was fun too. It was Me, Justin, Brittany, Jordan, Kristin, Michael, Sammi, Bobbie, and Jenny. We are a funny group of people, so we had a great time. And i can not believe that I am graduating tonight. It still has not set in yet. I think i might actually be sad too. But i know graduation will be fun, and i get to "walk" with Clayton s Johnson. So we are going to do a little dance down the walk way. So im excited. Then i have food at my house after for my family, and then i have sober grad. yet another all nighter. SO i can not wait. Noly 3 hours until i start my graduation!

Memorial Day Weekend!

So my Memorial Day Weekend was definitely a memorable one. Well at least in a way. I went up to Bass lake with Justin and his family to stay with their cousins who own a cabin on the lake. I had a really great time. At least from what i can remember, i had a great time. On Monday, our last day there, Justin and i decided to go off of the rope swing that he and a lot of other peole go off every year. Except this year the water was a lot lower, and we thought we werent going to be able to go off of it. But on Sunday and Monday we saw people going off of it, so we decided it was ok to do it also. Justin went off a couple of times, and then i worked up enough courage to go off it as well. Well when i went off, i apparently dropped my feet too soon, and i let go WAY too soon. I ended up falling 20 feet into shallow water/ the shore. I was knocked unconcious (sorry for spelling) and Justin had to run down the mountain and save me from drowning. He ended up with a piece of tree in his arm and shin. Then he called a boat over to drive us back to the dock. Then when i started acting crazy i had to go to the hospital, because i had a concusion. So now i have trouble remembering things. SO it was a pretty exciting weekend to say the least.

Buchanan Scribe

So I read the entire Buchanan Scribe today, and there was a lot of things in it that annoyed me. And since i have nothing else to do, i decided that i would complain about it. First of all, they had an article titled: " The Code of Ethics: Opposing Views, Accountability for Students or Unwarranted Restricitons?" that completely irritated me. I understand that it was in the "oppinons" section, but some people have stupid oppinions. The article was about the fact that when you are apart of a Buchanan sport team or apart of leadership, you have to sign a "Code of Ethics". This is an agreement that when you sign, you are saying that as a leader or athlete you understand that you are representing the school and that what you do in and OUT of school reflects your team and your school. On the agreement the rules state that you are not allowed to partake in drinking alcohol or using tobacco products. This even includes being at a party where alcohol is being consumed, even if you are not one of the people drinking. One of the writers agreed with the contract, as i do. Howver, three of Buchanans senior girls wrote how they think it is wrong for the school to be so strick on things that occur after school hours. If you havent read it, you really should. Then we can talk about how ridiculous it is. But my oppinion, which opposes theirs, is that everyone who complains about it needs to stop. When you first signed the contract you knew going into it that it included your actions outside of school. So by signing it you are agreeing to follow the rules. So it isnt like any of these students didnt know what the regulations where. I have more to say about it but my hands are cramping. The other thing that really bugged me was the amount of errors that were in the paper. You would seriously think that it had not been proofread. There are about 5 errors on each page. Which usually does not bug me since i cant spell to save my life, and have no grammer skills. But it was actually so bad that it was distracting. There are some sentences that do not even make a little bit of sense. Whats even funnier is when the editor has errors. Ha! Well thats it, im done being a jerk. Hope you all have a great Memorial Day Weekend!

My Last Day of School

Yes indeed, today was my last day of school. And i could not be more excited! I have A's in PE, Economics, and english. The only one i am waiting on now is leadership. And i am actually afraid i might not get an A. How bad would it suck for my only B my senior year, acutally in 2 and a half years, to be in LEADERSHIP. However, even if i have a b it will not ruin my excitement of being done with High school. Now that i am done with actual school, the fun stuff gets to start happening. Like Grad Night, which i am SUPER EXCITED FOR, Sr picnic, graduation parties, and graduation itself. It is going to be an exciting two weeks that i have to look forward to. Ones with mixed emotions for sure. I will be excited, but sad at the same time. But i am definitely ready for it to happen.

SCUBA

So i was very excited about SUBA diving. But since i missed the first day, which were the lessons, i did not get to do. I was so bummed. So on tue i had to get in the water just to snorkle. I have snorkled before, its not that fun. I was very mad. All because i forgot to get my paper signed. But today, my teacher didnt make me get in. I got participation points just for helping set up the equipement and taking pictures. It was actually a pretty fun day in pe. It was a little sad that it was my last day in pe and english. But i shared some laughs with people in my class so it ended up being a good day.

SCUBA Diving

So tomorrow in pe i have to go scuba diving. Which at first i didnt want to do, but after we listened to the guys talk about it i wanted to do it. So now i am excited. Im not so excited about having to go to my third peior class smelling like chlorine. But i know that i may not get another opportunity to do it. Seeing as how i would probably be too chicken to do it in the ocean, i am doing it now while we are learning in a pool. So hopefully it will be enjoyable. It will be especially weird when we get to go in the deep end next thur. It just seems weird that we will be able to stay under 14 feet of water for about an hour. but for tomorrow, we are starting in about four feet, ha! but it is a good start. Then was move to about 8 or 9 feet, then the big 14 footer. so i wll keep you updated on how it will go.

PS... 7Days left!!!!!!!

The count down continues....

So can i tell everyone how excited i am that i only have to go to each class 9 more times. Seriously now, that is exciting news. It is also weird to think that in less then a month i will be graduating. My mom reminded me this weekend that we have to send out my announcements this week. After she said that it kind of finally hit me. It hasnt been real up until now. Now i realize that i have two weeks of high school left, and then i go to COLLEGE. It is weird to think that in that little amount of time we will all be going our sepereate ways. Which is actually a little sad to think about. I think that i have been in denile about it, but it really will be sad to say good bye to so many people. It will also be scary to start the next part of my life. I know that there are some big decisions that i am going to have to make. But i am also excited to see how God is going to use me, and what he is going to have me do with my life. Also in three months Brittany Kristin and i are going to be moving in together. I CAN NOT WAIT TO DO THIS. I do realize that it would be cheaper to live at home, since on my own i will have to pay for everything. But i want to at least try to live on my own. I know it wont be easy, but i will be proud of myself if i am able to do it. And even if i have to go back home, i will still be proud of the fact that i at least tried it. That is a big step for me and i cant wait to take it.

KT MANS 18TH BDAY

SO i realize that i just posted, but since i have time to kill i decided that i would post again. Last night i went to KTmans surprise party. Well i actually missed the whole "SURPRISE" part since i was late, because i had to finish a stupid group project for english. but it was still cool. Oh by the way, the party was at Pump It Up! for those of you who do not know what that is; it is a kids place that has a big blow up bounce house, obsticle course, basket ball, and slide. So there was definitly 16 of us having a surprise 18 BIRTHDAY PARTY. Yes, we are all 18 and having a party at PUMP IT UP. It was hilarious. It may not seem very cool to most people, but it was a lot of fun. I want to go to anther party there. It was really funny to watch almost the entire group go down the huge slide at once. Im pretty sure that we broke almost all of the rules while we were there, but o well. The best part of the night, however, had to be when Carlos, Lorenzo, Seth, and John sang High School Musical to ktman along with the card they got her. It was amazing! So it was a fun night and i hope that kt had a good birthday.

Fresno City

Today i registered for Fresno City. I was a little annoyed with the system, because they had people with the last names a-l go first. So some of the classes were already gone by the time i got there. I know that Michael didnt get the math class that he needed. So i was mad that because our last name is in the 2nd half of the alphabet, we couldnt get a class that we needed. Well i didnt, but i was annoyed for Michael. It was easier then i thought it was going to be though. Although, i was a moron and got so excited about picking my classes that i forgot to think about work. So i have to go back and try to change three of my class times. Ooops. But hopefully that wont be too hard. I am excited though that i have Film 2 with Michael. Well, most likely anyways. He is number one on the waiting list. Which is actually a funny story because i registered a split second before him, and got the last spot in the class. ha. But the lady said that if you are in the top seven, you most likely get in the class. And since he is number one he has it. I am bummed tho that i do not have a class with kristin or justin. It would be cool if all four of us could have a class together, but our schedules are so different that it would be nearly impossible for that to happen.

SPIDER MAN 3!!!

Last night at 11:59 i FINALLY saw Spider Man 3! Oh ya, I went to the midnight showing. It was really good, and there were some super funny parts. However, i was a little dissapointed about a couple of things. I knew going into that it was not going to be as good at the first two, since the third of trilogies rarely are. But, there was one scene in particular that i really wish they wouldnt have kept in it. It was weird, and i just didnt feel like it fit. I was also annoyed that while venom was taking over spider man, Peter had to become an emo. No seriously, if you havent seen it yet, he totally becomes emo. He does the bangs in front of the eyes, black eyeliner, no one understands me thing. I was very disappointed. No one should make Spider man emo. NO ONE. SO that kinda of ruined it for me. But Tobey Mcguire did a great job in one scene were he dances, and i about peed my pants. IT was hilarious. He just totally went all out, and i dont think anyone else could have made it as funny as he did. I though however, that they did a good job with the three different villans. I was worried going into it that it would be too much having three different bad guys. But they did a great job balancing the three. I especially liked how they had things turn out with Harry. Plus James Franco is hot, so that was a big plus! all together, i liked it, but i dont think it was as good as the first two. But definetly worth seeing in the theater. Im sure ill see it a couple more times before it leaves the theaters.

PS.... SENIORS HAVE ONLY 15 DAYS OF SCHOOL LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Days 1 & 2 of SENIOR MEETINGS

What is there to say about sr meetings? Well for starters, it has to be one of the biggest wastes of time. I dont mind that we get to miss class and sit around with our friends for 3 hours. But i would still rather be able to stay home. I seriously think the only reason that we have these meetings is because they have nothing better to do with us. All of the important things that we need to know or get could easily be done in one day. But since they dont know what to do with us, we have to sit through them wasting time. The first day they handed out these booklets about graduation, grad night, and all that fun stuff. You would think that since we are SENIORS IN HIGH SCHOOL, we could handle reading it on our own. But no, they had to fill an hour, so they read it to us. I forget that they treat us like 5 year olds. But we did have some fun. Kristin, Brittany, Me, Justin, Michael, Jordan, Jena, and Klaire spent the majority of the time drawing funny pictures for each other on the back of papers that they would pass out. And yes, we would have to turn them back in. So on our ballets for things, and surveys there would be some very interesting pictures for them to see. HA! it was pretty funny. We were also finished and hour early both days which ment that we got to have a two hour lunch two days in a row. Today we got to go to Red Robin. We also got our invitations and announcements that we ordered. It was exciting because it is starting to finally set in and feel more real that i am graduating in a month. IM SO EXCITED!!!

update on how many days of school left: 22 DAYS!!!!!!!! (i wouldnt forget to tell you all)

27 MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL

SO i decided that i would keep the count down going every time that i updated my bolg. It makes me happy each time that it gets smaller and smaller. Although i know it is going to go by fast, it still seems too long for me. But i am excited for the SR meetings over the next couple of weeks that we are going to have while the underclassmen take their star testing (haha) . This means two very exciting things: (1) No real school for three days (2) we are that much closer to all the fun SR stuff like grad night. I CANT WAIT FOR GRAD NIGHT! IT is going to be a lot of fun. Although going to a place that will be packed with teenagers is not exactly my idea of fun, it will be fun being able to go with my friends. It will also be some what sad since it will be one of the last things i do with some of the friends i have now. But to be honest all the people i would truely miss im going to remain friends with. SO i guess it is not that sad.

SpRinG BREAK

I am so sad that spring break is over. I really enjoyed mine this year. It was my goal to do something amazing everyday, and i was able to accomplish my goal. Even if most peole wouldnt think what i did was amazing, it was to me. The best part had to be my trip to SANTA CRUZ with Justin and Jena. We drove (by our selves...i know, we are big kids now) to santa cruz and spent most of the day at the board walk. We road my favorite ride of all time THE GIANT DIPPER!!!! we also rode on some other really fun ones there. I even beat justin on the ghost ride. We took some good pictures. The one of us on Giant Dipper is hilarious. But i got a parking citation for letting the metor run up, that wasnt so fun. After the board walk we drove to Capitola (with no directions, all on our own). There, we ate at my favorite pizza place Pizza My Heart on the beach. Then looked around at the shops, and headed home (and once again, found our way home on our own) It was a great day, and we had a blast.
Now i get to look forward to only 32 MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL!!!

ONLY 35 DAYS OF SCHOOL LEFT!!!!!

I counted today on my work calender, and it is only 35 days of school until the seniors are done. That is not counting breaks and the weeks after white card day, but still. That means that i only have to wake up and hate going to high school 35 more times. That is amazing to me. Then i will be able to wake up and want to go to college. WAAAHHOOO!!!

Long Time, No Post

Its been a long time since i have last posted, and everyone keeps telling how i need to post something new. So i decided that today was as good of a day as any.
Last week I got to pick out my class for Fresno City College next year. It was boring at first since they treated us like 12 year olds and went through an entire booklet with us. Im pretty sure that if we are going to be in college, we can handel reading something on our own. So that was a little bit annoying. But it was a lot more fun once i got to sit down with some one and look at what classes im going to be taking. I have to take English 1A, but it is the only one i HAVE to take since i tested out of math. I LOVE MATH. But the classes that i picked are Modern Art, Modern Film, Intro to Psych, and Macro Economics. It was a lot of fun to pick out classes that i want to be. It will be exciting to actually want to go to my class and learn. it will be a first.

Justin Timberlake

So i went to the justin timberlake concert. he was amazing. He sang every song on his new cd, and a lot of the more popular ones off of his old one. He even sang a part of an N'sync song. Which was also amazing since i loved them as well. I could not believe how talented he is. Throughout the show he played not only the guitar, but the piano and the piano/guitar thing. (i dont know what it is called...but he played it). Timberland was also there, since he sings in about six of justins songs. He had a whole 20 min in the middle of the show to do his thing. which is a long time to go not seeing justin if you ask me. especially since that was who i went to see in the first place. But it was still fun. I was mad at the crowd, because half the people left after he ended what they thought was the last song. But everyone knows that you dont leave until the house lights come one. Like justin timberlake wouldnt have an encore. come on! so kristin and i were able to go all the way to the front to watch him come out in a shirt and jeans (i know....how cute) and play the piano and sing his last song. He even said that he loved us all. But we all know that he ment he loved me....
...Not to mention the fact that he proposed to me after the concert.

This is for you Alyssa

So I finally made a blog. I thought it was a good idea since I will need a way to keep in touch with everyone after graduation. And maybe this will end up better then myspace.
